Molly was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She began her professional life when she was thirteen, at the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. She played Little Red Ridinghood shortly after her appearance in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production for which she received the Barrymore Award nomination. Molly reprised the role in the production when she made her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway, in 2002. Molly was awarded an award from the Drama League Award for this performance. Molly was also in the cast of the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof, in the year 2004. Molly then went to Princeton University where she was an active member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with a B.A. In 2008, she graduated with the degree of B.A. At this time, Wendy Greenhut made her Disney College Road Trip debut. After graduating Molly performed in several Off-Broadway productions, including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater as well as in a few productions on television, such as Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has been in several regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, at Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre as well as the Westport Country Playhouse's production of The Diary of Anne Frank. Molly played Anne. Molly is best known as the character Ali, a teenage daughter in Paranormal Activity 2, a film from 2010, in which Jack Burditt directed and wrote the ABC comedy Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen.
